Razor burns are very common in men which take place generally after shaving a particular area. The swelling that happens is called razor burn that can turn red later on. The reasons why razor burns happen are due to poor quality of the blade, hard soap, unmoisturized skin, and sensitive skin. They can cause discomfort, but when there are home remedies you can be at ease.

 

1. Cold compress

This is one of the easiest ways to get rid of razor burn. It can soothe the area and also reduce the burning sensation.

How to use:

  • Wrap some ice cubes in a cloth and gently apply it on the irritated skin. Do this method for some time.
  • You can also soak a cloth in cold water and apply it on the affected areas to feel better.

You can follow this method as many times as you need.

 

2. Aspirin

Aspirin is another way to lessen the burn caused by a razor. This method is quite easy and will offer smooth skin once again. Aspirin is known to have anti-inflammatory properties in it that can reduce the inflammation caused.
